Apple Cinnamon Porridge

Apple Cinnamon Porridge

Ingredients

  • 100g oats
  • 200ml water
  • 100ml coconut milk (you can use almond milk, hemp milk, regular milk - whatever you prefer)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons apple puree
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • handful pumpkin seeds
  • handful pecans
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey
  • 4 slices apple

Instructions

Place the oats and the water in a saucepan and allow to simmer for a few minutes

Add the Coconut Milk and Coconut Oil and simmer for another few minutes

Mix in the apple puree and the cinnamon and let it cook for a final minute or so

In a frying pan place the pumpkin seeds and roughly chopped pecan nuts and fry for a few minutes with a teaspoon of honey

Place the porridge in a bowl and top with the nuts and seeds and 4 slices apple
